Today in TechieYouth I learned about E-commerce. E commerce is when you sell or buy goods online, it can also be switching funds online. TechieYouth taught me what to use E-commerce with and how to use it. TechieYouth also taught me how to make my own E-commerce so I could start making money.
An example of an E commerce I use is Amazon. I use this E-commerce almost daily for multiple things.
Today in TechieYouth I started the Virtual Assistant Unit. In this Unit I learned about what it takes to become a virtual assistant and to start earning money
The first thing I learned was what virtual assistants do. Virtual assistants hep people and give them virtual supports. They handle things like emails and other things and help people throughout this. They have different requirements to become one. Techie youth Also taught me about the different categories and what skills they need.
Today in TechieYouth I learned about different ways to earn income quickly. I learned that you don’t need a lot of resources to get started! This means I won’t have to spend too much money to make money.
The first thing I wanted to learn about in the Earning Immediate Income Unit is taking money by making surveys. I used to try and take surveys to make money but I would always get scammed. Today I learned relabel websites to find surveys and make money.
I also learned about proofreading other peoples work to earn money. It was fun to read and find out about but I’m not sure I would be good at it.
The other thing I learned about was making money by revisiting music. I think this was the funnest one, I love music. TechieYouth showed me how to do it then gave me reliable websites to start earning money right away.
Today in TechieYouth I learned about Artificial Intelligence. Artificial Intelligence is intelligence that is demonstrated through machines, it’s different than natural intelligence. Through the learning process I was taught how many things use artificial intelligence online and how we work with it. I was also taught what types of things are artificial intelligence and how they contribute to a workspace. The creators of artificial intelligence were Herbert Simon and Allen Newell.
Today in TechieYouth I started the writing unit. Today in this unit I learned about blogging. I learned about its significant to websites and the different types of blogging there is. I learned about creating a blog for my website and I learned about websites that don’t use any blogs at all.
Today in TechieYouth I also learned about Copywriting. Copywriting is when you write something towards a market or a product. This writing takes a while as it must be clear and concise.
Today in TechieYouth I learned about digital assets. Something’s I learned about digital assets Is needing webinars to get your business up and going. Webinars are web seminars (both the words put together) It’s usually used to bring an audience into your business and let them know what they will be expecting. It’s usually a group of people listening and watching you explain your business hoping to leave with information while you’re hoping to leave with buyers and people interested. I was also given multiple free/free trial websites to use for a webinar.
Today I also reviewed and created my own business seminar.
Today in TechieYouth I learned about building my portfolio when video editing. In order to build my portfolio I could charge people free or a small amount, in order to get some stuff inside of my portfolio. If I don't want to do this or can't find any people I can make some stuff for myself and put it into the portfolio. Portfolio's are important when trying to get people to hire you because they want to see who they're working with and what type of work you make. I also learned different websites to use for building a portfolio, these websites include Wix and SquareSpace.
Today in TechieYouth I learned about what type of environments there are in video editing and which could suit me. I also learned about using adobe premiere and its significance. It had many different subscriptions you could pay for and there’s the best one which is called premiere pro. There also student discounts. I also watched some videos on how to use it for editing and getting use to it. I learned the stuff that could be for me.
Today in TechieYouth I learned about filming and the color theory. I learned that in filming theres a lot of professionalism behind it. The time ittakes to edit, how much effort is put into it, and how precise the people editing need to be. I learned the different types of editing and what some of my favorites movies have used.
I learned about the color theory is that learning it is very helpful. You could use it when editing videos or even photos you might want to post on your socials. The color theory isnt that hard to learn but putting it into my crafts may take some time.
Today in TechieYouth I learned about people who achieved learning about trading options. I learned about how they act.
I also learned more which made me come up with a question My question was which would be better stocks or trading options. I learned that it mostly depends on the person but when you want to have a lower risk you could choose trading options, especially if you are not starting with a lot of money.
Today in TechieYouth I learned about getting your followers and audience for social media. I learned about how to create a business page or personal page and gain the followers and audience to fulfill your business. I also learned that it’s certain amount of ways to achieve these goals on social media. It has to be a certain way so you don’t go overboard or underboard.
Today in TechieYouth I learned more about trading options and went back to review so I could receive credits for the unit.
What I learned about trading options is there’s many different options. Trading options are harder than stocks for some people and easier for others. You need to make sure you pick the correct options for yourself, which I will do when I finally start trading because I don’t want to make any mistakes. You can buy and sell options.
Today in TechieYouth I reviewed more of the selling art online unit so I can pass the test.
I also started a new unit which taught about niche informational websites. This taught me about markets that cater to a certain thing. It also helps this certain thing sell. A long term view keeps them most profitable. I also learned about the different niche websites and did some personal research on them.
Today in TechieYouth I learned more about selling art. I learned that you should plug your art into your social media and make sure you have a fan base before you do so. An audience is a big part of starting your art business. I learned that the business model also applies to this. I also learned more about the Three P’s in selling, and the order they go in. Without an audience your business won’t do as good because you don’t have any people checking out your artwork or seeing it. Today I also tried to do the test but I failed and plan on reviewing.
Today in TechieYouth I learned about creating an online market. When creating an online market you want to be patient because things aren’t going to get going right away. You want to have a small starting budget because you don’t know if it will be bought or you will want to change what you’re selling. Websites like Amazon, Etsy, Ebay, and Craigslist. These will help you to get started and then when you build an audience you could move them over to your website. When starting a online market don’t be scared and don’t get discourage if things don’t start off fast.
Today in techie I tried my best reviewing different units so I can pass the quizzes that I’ve failed. During this process I learned something’s about seeking goods that I missed. I also learned about sales channels. I am still struggling with the sales channels quizz and digital goods quizz but I am going to continue learning and reviewing the units until I can pass the quizzes I am failing.
Today in TechieYouth I learned multiple things as I reviewed different units to redo the quizzes.
The first thing I reviewed was forex trading to learn all the information that I missed out on previously. The next thing I reviewed was the customers in the entrepreneurship unit. This taught me more things about starting a business and keeping my customers satisfied. I have 2 more quizzes to complete and I’m going to continue to review information.
Today in techie youth I learned about intangible assets. Intangible assets are assets that are untouchable since they have no real presence. These assets add value to your business, they also are long term.
Intangible assets are set into two categories.
1. Intellectual property: This is when you create something with your mind. Other companies cannot copy this.
2. Goodwill: This measure several factors that affect your brands value. A few examples of good will is like your companies reputation and strategies
Tangible assets are items you can tough, like furniture and vehicles. Intangibles are untouchable. These two connect to each other.
Domain names
Many people invest into domain names for their business. It takes a long time to find a domain name and pay for one. Domain names that are new cost anywhere between 10-29 dollars while old ones tat are registered cost a little more
Today in TechieYouth I learned about marketing strategies to keep your customer coming back and wanting to come back.
I also learned about website building and the correct and wrong ways to build a website. I noticed that many of these mistake are mistake I would of made trying to build a website. So I read and watched the videos and learned how to not make those mistakes.
I also learned about creating membership websites and what I would want for it. Before learning this I learned about creating ads that’ll attract customers to my websites to buy my products. Creating ads take many steps and making sure you attract your audience, but it’s worth it.
Today in TechieYouth I learned about commodities and the trading risk. Commodity is a market of trading that trades primary things. Commodity is also a basic good used in commerce that is interchangeable with other goods of the same type. There’s many risk that come with trading in this market, the risk also comes with benefits though. Common fraud also comes with the use of this trading market.
I also learned about creating digital stores. Creating digital stores can help you earn so much customers because it’s looking like that may be our future. With digital stores your business plan has to be thought out a little different though.
Today in TechieYouth I learned about Forex trading and the meaning of it, I continued the unit. I also learned about REITs. REITs are real estate investment trust, this is when a company owns or operates income reducing real estate. I learned about if I should add it to my portfolio. I think I would add it to my portfolio because it’s a great investments and something necessary to add to my portfolios.
I also learned about how after hours trading affects stock prices. After hours is when regular markets hours are over.
Blockchains are like a security that makes it hard to get into the system. Blockchains record information and make it difficult to cheat it. Block chains are less restrictive and transparent. Most cryptocurrencies are powered by these blockchains which helps them a lot more.
Blockchains also have many uses different than for just cryptocurrency. They’re global, they increase privacy, and they’re very open. Why would they be strictly for bitcoin with all these pros.
I also learned about forex and how it’s not always a scam but people usually make it come off as one.
Today in techie youth I learned how to make a MVP which stands for minimum viable product. This validated your products idea earlier in the development cycle, it also helps you get feedback. A few purposes of the MVP is releasing a product quickly, testing an idea with real people before the actual release, and learning what resonates with the companies target
market.
I also started the cryptocurrency unit and I learned so far that stocks is when you have a fractional ownership of a company, buying the companies stock means you own a small piece of that company. It could go down but stocks can also rise.
Setting up business take time and the smallest mistake can affect you. I learned about the formalities of legal business operation. A business usually operates as a company entity, but theirs also the Sole proprietor. The sole proprietor is like the solo entrepreneurship route, this is when it’s ran by a single person. When filing make sure to open a bank account in the company’s name. Usually when the company is sued they take it out of the company’s stuff instead of yours, your personal belongings will be fine.
Today I also learned about how to design a logo that’s unique and fits your brand. You can find people who make logos for free or just make a logo yourself, there’s many free logo makers online. You don’t want your logo to be copy righted or you don’t want to copy right anybody else’s logo, this will just make it harder for your business in the long run.
Profit modeling is important because it gives you a clear path of the way you should be heading. It helps keep your profit in place and make more money than you’re spending. You may fall off the plan but make sure you get back on it before you make no profit.
Customers are big when owning business. If you’re starting a business you want to look through the customers eyes. Think, why would they want to buy this? Would they pay this price?
Today in techie youth I learned about being an entrepreneur. I learned there’s always up and downs to it and it won’t start easy. You need the mindset and motivation. When being an entrepreneur you need a lot of patience as things don’t get going how you want it to right away.
What I learned today in techie youth is that being scared of failure is going to stop you from achieving many goals, but many people are scared of failure. Their youth taught me various amount of ways to get over the fear of failure. I also learned how to manage my time in a way that I won’t feel burnt out by the end of everyday. It’ll also help with not trying to multitask or rush everything into one day, so creating a schedule is something I will do in the future.
I also learned different ways to manage my stress. Don’t let people’s words control my feeling because in the end words aren’t really affecting my world. Embrace your true self, acting like someone your not and putting on a persona can be stressful.
I learned that networking is insanely useful when trying to pursue your career. The reason it's so important is because you gain connections to other people, especially high value connections. you can start networking by looking online and connecting to them or waiting for a speech person to finish their speech and speaking to them. Make sure the connections feel natural and genuine, don't try to force it too much. Make a connection before you try to sell to them. LinkedIn is great for networking, facebook and Quora could be good too.
In Financial awareness & financial management I learned making smart purchases is vry important. While doing so budgeting yourself and keeping up with income should be done. Buy items that may increase in value! For example, if you buy a pair of sneakers ofr a price and try to sell them, you'll be selling worn sneakers so the amount you'll get for them will be lower than you paid.
I learned different techniques on saving my incomes, almost 100% of them. Having good cash flow is necessary. I won't buy anything that I can't buy twice because that means I should be worrying about other things. Make sure my income has persistence and I can depend on it. I also learned to payoff all my debts before anything else.
In mastering the job interview and getting hired, I learned how to dress and look the part for interviews, as it’s very important. I was also taught how to pitch very well, with an elevator pitch. An elevator pitch is supposed to be as fast as going up on an elevator. Using zoom is also very easy and may happen often at the workplaces or for interviews, so being prepared with a good camera and good microphone is great, also remember to mute my microphone if i’m not talking!
I should never feel intimidating negotiating my salary because it’ll only affect me later in life. Some jobs may higher quicker than others it’s not always the same.
In successfully working a remote job I learned there’s a lot of myths about working at home, even though it’s great it still has its cons like any other job. Sometimes remote jobs may pay less than actually working in person. You can travel while working remote. If traveling is a great hobby of yours, then remote is great for you!
Today in Techieyouth I learned the pros and cons of remote learning which shows it’s easier for some and harder for others. I also learned using checking accounts and sending money through Zelle which helps people wire money. As I learned this I was also shown how to create a Zelle account. Different apps for checking accounts that may work for you. The accretion of credit card payments. Credit card payments may be a whole different process. There are 3 different payment aggregators, which help many people. The 3 different payment aggregators. Paypal, Stripe, and square. They allow you to send payments through their platforms with fees. I was also told the difference between those three and regular merchant accounts. Creating square accounts and Paypal accounts and linking them to your account, as they could be very helpful. I was also taught about the future of current crypto currency and the safety of it. I was also taught that I should always watch what I post on social media because jobs look at this. Finding remote jobs can be easy as long as I follow the steps listed in the videos. The videos were helpful as I want to continue to pursue a remote career.
