Today in Web Development I came across the Web design section which taught me:
well-designed websites for inspiration
web design clients when you do not yet have a portfolio or work history
how to market your web design/development services
how to get your first web design client
how to find your first web design clients
how to get web design clients
more ways to get web design clients, and
some common web design mistakes to avoid
Today I dove into the third section of Web Development, which consisted of me learning, the differences between a front-end developer and a back-end developer.
the differences between a web designer and a web developer.
becoming a web architect.
becoming a data architect.
becoming a system administrator.
becoming a quality assurance (QA) Engineer.
becoming a release manager.
becoming a product manager.
becoming a project manager, and
becoming a chief technical officer (CTO.)
Today I learned what niche websites are, specifically the sections "Why You Should Consider Building A Niche Website" and "Reasons Why You Shouldn't Consider Starting a Niche Website" provide pros and cons of making a niche website.
I also went through most of the sections in Niche Informational which were, Selecting a niche website theme that has potential, and technicalities of setting up a new niche content website.
Today when I bulged into Providing Services I came across to website makers, Wordpress, and Wix. WordPress is a free, open-source website creation platform. On a more technical level, WordPress is a content management system (CMS) written in PHP that uses a MySQL database. In non-geek speak, WordPress is the easiest and most powerful blogging and website builder in existence today. Wix is an online company that provides web hosting and website design services. Users can design and build their sites in HTML5, and mobile websites, using drag-and-drop utilities. Two popular aspects of Wix are that developers can create web applications to market to other users, and users do not need to know any coding to create a website.
Good afternoon again, today I will be logging what techie youth has taught me, again. Today revolved more around how to make money as a musician, 5 ways you can make money as one can be: Earn streaming royalties through digital distribution,
Make money playing gigs,
Sell band merchandise online,
Collaborate with brands and other musicians,
Sell beats and samples,
and Teaching music classes and sell lessons.
I also learned a bit on music licensing and how to make money doing that, the most popular way to make money doing this is streaming your music on certain music apps like Spotify, Google Play, Pandora etc. The thing is if you can't make over a million streams, you're most likely getting paid less than what you think you're getting, for ex. 1,000,000 streams is approximately 3,000$ on Spotify. However, it can also depend on the streaming app.
Good Afternoon my name is Aden and I wanted to let you know what I have took in from Music Production. Today I have learned what is DAW which stands for Digital Audio Worksite, I have learned of 5 different free software's for Music production including: GarageBand, Tracktion T7, Klevgrand SyndtSphere, etc. I also learned how to get started in music production.
Another day of techie youth is another day of learning, and what I have learned today is what I should know of stocks. This includes What stock is, Who shareholders are, What stock price means
Why stock prices change
The impact of changes in stock price
What an investment portfolio is
The average return on investment
What the stock market is
Is the stock market always profitable?
What is the risk of investment?
and How can the risk of investment be lowered?
I didn’t find any trouble learning of the first steps to this topic but I don’t know if it’s something I want to partake in right now, but maybe when I’m done my mind might be changed.
