Branding
The first step in building your brand image is identifying a unique brand name that does not infringe on any copyrights or trademarks.
Domain name
Finding an available domain name for your website is challenging enough; it is critical that you also are not infringing on someone's trademark.
Company email
After getting your domain name, it is important to set up a company email address. The exact method to set up email will differ based on who will host the email account;
Creating a slogan
A slogan is a short, simple catchphrase that represents your company. If written well, your customers will be sure to remember it and be inspired to buy your product.
Mission statement
A mission statement lets people know what the company stands for, and essentially, what purpose it has for existing. It inspires not only customers to be interested in the company, but employees to want to work for it.
Company logo
Creating a logo and other graphics is necessary to catch the customer’s eye and advertise your personal brand. Depending on your level of creativity and graphical-abilities, you may design a logo yourself or have someone else make it or you.
Business cards
A business card is expected of any business owner who intends to network or share news of their company in a person-to-person environment.
Website
The final step to branding yourself and enabling customers to be aware of your business is to create a website with your company information displayed in an appealing professional manner.

Set up business entity formalities
The formalities of legal business operation vary greatly in each country, state and sometimes even municipality. It would be impossible to provide a full guide for every geography in the world, but the guidelines outlined here are the general factors that are relevant to most business locations (including virtual-businesses.)
Sole proprietor
In United States, every business operates as a "company" entity. There are several types of business entities; the simplest is a sole-proprietorship.
Partnership
This is essentially the same as a sole-proprietor except that the company is formed having two or more partners listed as co-founders. The county-clerks office filing fee may be slightly higher for partnerships.
Corporations
This is a very broad topic, and there are different types of corporations that one can file. Formally, a corporation is an independent entity that encompasses your company, and you (as the founder) would own the company and also be an employee of your own corporation.

Identifying your customer and market
* Who is going to pay you? This is your customer.
* What demographic of person or company will want the product or service that you are offering? This is your market.
* Why will they want it enough to pay you the prices or rates that you charge? The answer to that is your "value proposition."
* Who else is offering a similar product or business? This is your competition.
* Will your product be either solving a need or providing happiness to the customer? Is the product a solution-in-search-of-a-problem that is unlikely to gain a large market-need?
Competition
Competition is a natural part of doing business. A strong value proposition will provide the potential to obtain a market-share from your competition.
Defensibility
How easy would it be for another company to directly compete with your business and take your customers? The degree of difficulty to replicate your business is called defensibility.

Health and productivity
Poor health can limit productivity. Physical and mental well-being is an essential factor affecting an individual’s willingness to work and complete assigned tasks.
One of the free ways of taking care of our physical health is exercising, which along with having a balanced diet is one of the most common ways of looking after your physical health.
Physical exercise
Here are some tips on how to incorporate physical activity into your daily routine and turn exercise into a habit:
* Set an exercise schedule and set yourself an electronic reminder.
* Keep small exercise gadgets around your work area, such as grip-strength devices or small lightweight barbells.
* Pick an exercise that you enjoy; physical activity should be something you like and makes you feel good about yourself.
Mental health
It is essential to take care of your mental health as a means to support your efforts towards professional and personal endeavors.
To sustain good mental health:
•Give
•Eat healthy
•Sleep

Mastering the job interview and getting hired
Once you have gotten the opportunity to be interviewed you will need to demonstrate interview skills to your prospective recruiter.
In the days before your job interview, set aside time to do the following:
1. Research the company and interview
Understanding key information about the company you’re interviewing with can help you go into your interview with confidence.
2. Practice your answers to common interview questions
Prepare your answer to the common question:
3. Reread the job description
You may want to print it out and begin underlining specific skills the employer is looking for.
4. Recruit a friend to practice answering questions
Practicing your answers out loud is an incredibly effective way to prepare.
5.Prepare a list of references
Your interviewers might require you to submit a list of references before or after your interview.
6.Be prepared with examples of your work
During the interview, you will likely be asked about specific work you’ve completed in relation to the position.e.t.c
The typical steps to being hired are:
1. Send in your resume and cover-letter requesting the role
2. If step-1 is successful, the company will schedule a time to interview you
3. Go through the interview.
4. If step-3 is successful, the company will provide you a job-offer.
5. You sign or acknowledge acceptance of the offer, and fill out any other paperwork provided in step-4
6. Communicate with the company any necessary details that were not outlined as of yet, such as what date you begin, your work hours/days, who will be your supervisor, on what schedule do they pay and what (if any) process do you need to do to get paid (having to complete a weekly timesheet is common.)
