Today at Techie Youth I learned how to become an entrepreneur and all the steps there is to it. First, I learned the pros and cons of being your own boss. A pro is that you will be able to create your own schedule and it'll be as flexible as you need it to be. A con is that your work-life balance might become difficult. Another thing I learned was how to plan a business properly. You need a business model, profit models & revenue streams, you also need some partnerships along the road. I also learned what it means to have your brand name legally and also how to obtain funding. This unit really showed me what it means to have a business because from an outsiders perspective it looks easy but there's really a lot that goes Into it.
