Recruiter: What I learned at Techie Youth

Today I learned about what to do and say when getting hired for a job. When Interviewed for a job if you don't specifically know so much about the Job your getting into be honest and answer with something like "I don't have much experience but I am willing to learn and work hard for this new experience." You should get to know your company that you're applying for so that way you're not stuck with something that you're not really familiar with. You should be able to understand who is the company and what they do. You should build a personal website and promote your soft skills on there. You should have a portfolio of work and a resume to showcase what you know and to show your abilities and experiences of what you know and can do. Be prepared for the interview so that way you sound professional and it makes it look like you did your research.

When creating a website you should think to yourself, what are things that the website by itself is going to do that other websites or things don't currently have. It should bring new value to the table and attract new costumers, so that way you are able to get more and more costumers because of how well your website was put together and how smooth and easy it is to get around the website and explore. In Web Development I also learned about what Google Analytics is, it is a web analytics service that is used by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. DataBase: What I learned at Techie Youth

I learned that databases are used to store data from your website. Databases fall into two categories which are relational data and non-relational data. Non-Relational data blocks off relevant content into a single monolithic record, that is referred to Denormalized data. Relational data normalizes the data, they split the data into small pieces and put it together by creating things that define what a relation is. I learned what a NoSQL is which is a trade off that provides a better and easier human-interface than having a less not good computing process. When looking for NoSQL the logo of it is an elephant. Relational databases which is called SQL have databases that are tables and have two columns in it. These types of databases were very confusing when practicing them out but I got the hang of it once you know how to apply the information in.

Product Manager

Today I learned the difference between a Product Manager and a Product owner. The Product Manager manages how your product forms. The product manager knows your product as well as you do, the product owner. They can test and ensure quality. They have the broadest knowledge across all the components of the product. It's not as profitable but you can make lots of money. Product development divides into three categories: strategy, roadmap, and backlog. The strategy involves the vision of the product and its creation. The roadmap is the timeline for implementing the strategy and the backlog is used to manage day-by-day tasks in the development process. Product roadmaping includes: themes, epics, stories, and features. I also learned about the fundamentals of entrepreneurship. There is a risk you might not make money or you can make millions. Today I watched videos of creating a 3D object. It was very interesting.

Product Manager: What I learned at Techie Youth

I learned on how to create better product strategies. A product strategy is a high level plan that tells you how your product intends to accomplish your companies goals. The strategy gives out a solution and gives you a visual of what the future can look like and fix costumers problems. A great product strategy ranges the goals and objectives for the business, it makes sure the company is on the right track and spends time on the thing that is necessary. Communication is another thing to bring to what you're building so that you can develop the right solution. You have to start preparing your money, time, and people to support your product needs. Also having a great product strategy is when it keeps everyone moving on and forward to the next steps. Before creating a great strategy you should be able to know the answers to all your questions and how you're gonna do it, when you're gonna do it, just being well prepared for it.
