Immediate Income continuation

Today I continued working on Immediate Income, where I learned that you can get paid for writing greeting cards. I also learned that Amazon Mechanical Turk and ClickWorker are ways to earn money immediately doing random online-tasks. The income earned from these "micro gigs" is relatively small and may be more suited for people who live in countries where the US dollar has a stronger value than their local currency. I also resubmitted some of the assignments that needed revision.

Today I learned about Immediate Income, where there are many applications that can get you paid for doing quests such as doing surveys gives points to save points and you are able to use it for exchange for giftcards and etc... SurveySavvy assesses information from your member profile and assigns you to various demographics. It is important to update your member profile so that SurveySavvy can match you to survey opportunities accordingly.

2nd Continuation of Writing Topic

Today I continued working on the writing topic again, where I learned about grant writing. Grant writing entails writing proposals asking foundations, corporations and grant-making organizations for granted-money to be used to fund charities and non-profit organizations. Writing a grant proposal involves following the format defined in the guidelines for each individual proposal, and customize it with the details pertinent to the non-profit that is applying. The average salary for grant writer is $69,831. I also learned that grant writing is the process of applying for funding provided by a private, corporate, or government grant-maker. Another information I learned is that data entry is the act of transcribing some form of information into another medium, usually through input into a computer program.

Continuation of Writing Topic

Today I continued to work on the writing topic, where I learned about blog and ghostwriter. The blog itself is made up of a collection of articles, and this blog is a part of the entire website. It’s also the main purpose of this website, so that is also why we refer to the website as a blog. Ghostwriting is a blanket term for being hired to write content for someone else, in an arrangement where you are expected to forgo attribution and the person hiring you will have full copyright over your content.

Today I worked on the Writing topic, where I learned about copywriting. Copywriting is geared toward marketing a product or service for a company, so the writing must be persuasive, clear and concise. This can involve writing short advertisements, mass emails, or other forms of raising brand awareness. The skills required for most writing jobs include accountability and reliability, meaning that the person you will report to is able to count on you to meet deadlines and fulfill the tasks asked of you. It would be expected that you have a great understanding of language and grammar as well as a passion for what you are writing about.

Continuation of Mobile Apps

Today I continued working on Mobile Apps, where I learned that there are ways to create mobile apps for both iOS and Android natively without having to code the same app for each operating system. I also learned that android powers a wide-range of devices from many brands, included nearly all non-Apple mobile phones and tablets. There are also many devices that integrate Android into vehicles, smart-appliances, smartwatches, smart-TVs and set-top boxes, low-end netbook computers, etc.

Mobile App Topic

Today I worked on the Mobile App topic, where I learned that there are some factors that determine the salary of the app developers. iOS developers: For developing a native iOS app, you need to be well versed in Objective-C/ Swift programming language. In the US, the demand for Apple devices wins over Android but on a global scale, Android is the more popular platform. I also learned that java is the main programming language for Android platform and since android apps are accessible from a greater number of mobile devices and the Google play store is less restrictive than the Apple app store is a huge plus for companies that target android app development and hire Android app developers.

Analyst topic

Today I worked on Analyst topic, where I learned that

AVERAGEIFS calculates the average of numbers in a range that meet one or more criteria and that COUNTIFS counts the number of times all sums are totaled. I also learned that business analysts are the problem solvers of a company. Their main job is to "offer guidance and advice on what requirements and solutions" to improve a company’s performance. There are two types of analyst, an external analyst and an internal analyst. An external analyst is a contractor, an outside perspective brought in to help solve a problem, who leaves after the problem is solved and an internal analyst is a company employee who works within the company and continues to work with the company after the project is completed.

Fundraising topic

Today I worked on Fundraising topic, I learned that in the United States and most other developed countries, nearly 80% of the money that is donated to charities comes from individual donors. Fundraisers plan and oversee campaigns and events to raise money and other kinds of donations for an organization and they ensure that campaigns are effective by researching potential donors and examining records of those who have given in the past. Fundraisers who also work for political campaigns must be knowledgeable about campaign finance laws, such as the contribution limits of an individual giving to a specific candidate.

Today I worked on Recruiter and Talent Acquisition topic, where I learned that recruiters usually have a bachelor's degree in business or a similar subject, but it is not a determining factor. I also learned that many times recruiters focus on a specific niche that they are experts in. This can range from healthcare to education. Talent acquisition is the process of attracting, finding and hiring skilled human labor for organizational needs in order to meet labor requirements.

Today I worked on the Product Manager topic, where i learned that a product manager is responsible for guiding a product from idea to launch. This involves gathering feedback, choosing which features to develop and then guiding the team to execute them. The role of a product manager is dynamic, every day looks a bit different. Product management is an interdisciplinary job, not only are the product manager working with people from different teams, the product managers are also responsible for all these different deliverables.

Quality Assurance

Today I did the topic Quality Assurance, where I learned about testing. There are different types of testings like smoke and sanity testing, stress testing, load testing, security testing and unit testing. Stress testing is when you intentionally tax a system or run a program overloaded, simulating a large quantity of users or intense application activity. The purpose of stress tests is to monitor how the systems/applications react to being overloaded and identifying the tipping point where it can no longer handle the traffic. Unit testing tests individual units or components within software.

Today I did the Virtual Assistant topic, where i learned that in Indeed, the average base salary for Virtual Assistant in the United States is around 22$ per hour. There are many categories for Virtual Assistant like, traveling, office skills, virtual meetings and more. I also learned that virtual assistants are a relatively new phenomenon ushered in by the internet, and becoming a VA can be a great full-time job that allows people to work from home.
