today at techie youth I learned advertising, we see ads everywhere on tv, on a big board while driving, while you are watching your YouTube video, scrolling down on a certain website. but we also see them on Facebook, instagram, and Snapchat. these are all very good places to gain costumers based on your advertisement.

I learned how to make my own ad on Facebook with the help of santrel media YouTube channel. the first step to this is to make a account on business Facebook.com next you have to set up the page of your business make sure to put a profile picture so your business looks professional when people click on your page, add some post about your business , and add pictures too! please make sure you take a good amount of time on it

next go back to where you press add page and click on ad account. then it will be asking you simple questions and it will be a quick process, then in order to make your actual ad you click next to the Facebook logo and it will Bring down a lot of options, click on ads manager It will Bring you to a page with campaign, ad set name and ad. you should start it with campaign and they will give you options to choose what you are trying to do with this ad like if you want to grow your business you would choose brand awareness. next after that is done set name is where you will be choosing your target audience. the placements is just where you want your ad to be advertised. budget is how long you will want your ad to be advertised and how much you would like to pay, keep your budget low. then last will be to make the actual ad, you can choose the kind of content you want to put in this ad . you will be able to see how your ad looks in different perspectives like desktop or Mobile phone. the very last thing is to put your card details and you are done !!!

today at techie youth I learned more intangible things I can use to earn money !

I learned about three new ways: copyrights, trademark rights and patents, virtual trading cards, and domains. the other way that I have learned already is cryptocurrencies.

I am fond of two of the ways which is copyrights and virtual trading cards. I think these two options are the easiest to do and all you have to do is be patient.

what is a domain? A domain is the name of your website with the .com or .org it is like an address. it helps people find your website instead of typing the iP address.

what is a crypto currency? a crypto currency is a digital currency which you can sell and buy, or mine.

what is a copyright, trade mark and patents? copyright and trademark rights gives you the right as the owner to a video, art work, music, pictures etc. patents, it gives you the right to sell or make things

you can earn money with domains by buying a domain name and expecting Its value to increase and then sell it to make profit this is also how cryptocurrencies work. copyrights give you the rights to work and when someone uses your work without your permission you are entitled to contact the organization to compensate with money because it can damage your business, this can make you profit. virtual trading cards have value in them and some allow you to sell them like baseball cards.

today at techie youth I learned another way to sell Digital goods. todays method is called sales funnel and it is every step your potential costumer goes through before actually buying your product.

the importance of a sales funnel shows a possible way your potential costumer goes. it helps you see which way is not helping your business to sell.

today at techie youth I learned more ways to make money with the use of the internet. some digital goods are podcast, stock photos, a online course, and a webinar. I also learned how I can sell these online products and make sure my business is being shared. being online is what the majority of kids are doing now days, most parents would like their children to learn something good while using there technology. a way you can profit off of this is to make your own online course where kids can learn Many thing just how techie youth does. many people around the world like to listen to music or listen to ebooks, and including podcast. you can make your own podcast and sell it to people everywhere. like taking pictures? stock photos are a way you can make money, people pay certain platforms to use pictures for certain things. making a webinar is also a way you can make money, by promoting your products to other people, it is a way you can talk to potential costumers.

emails are something people all over the world use in-order to communicate with others. this is a way you can promote products and have people be more engaged with your products. you can make people sign up for a email subscribers list in-order to get emails about your products, some good deals and even your newest product that will be launching soon!

today at techie youth I started selling digital goods. so what are digital goods? digital good are are things that are not touchable, it is something online that can be sold and shared numerous times. selling digital goods is something beneficial in many ways such as

1) no need for space to hold inventory

2) no shipping cost

3) most of your sells is yours to keep

4) there is no need for you monitor

there are also some challenging things

1) competition; there are many place people can find your content for free

2) you have to protect your products

3) some platforms require you to sell your products physically

today at techie youth I discovered a new way to trade. this trading method is called commodity, it is when you trade certain things like coffee or copper. there are two kinds of commodities. the first commodity is called soft commodities, which are things that need more care like agriculture. the other kind of commodity is called hard commodities, which are things like metals, or oil reserves, natural resources. these kinds of things can be traded, sold or bought in commodity markets, (these markets can be online or in person).

In techie youth, today I learned trade options. Trade options is when a person is allowed but isn't obligated to sell or buy, the option allows a person to sell or buy the asset at its

strike price and this contract has a certain time. this can sometimes go well for you and earn profit or either lose money. in-order to have this contract "set in stone" you have to pay a premium, in-order to have the rights for that contract. there are two types of options, calls and puts.

Calls

The right, but not the duty, to purchase the underlying securities at the strike price on or before expiration is provided by a call option. The higher the price of the underlying securities, the more valuable a call option will be.

PUTS

The right, but not the responsibility, to sell the underlying stock at the strike price on or before expiration is provided by a put. Given that the option increases in value when the underlying security's price decreases, a long put is consequently a short position in that asset.

today in techie youth I learned what forex is.

forex is an online market place that allows you and many other people to trade currencies. forex is the largest market by trading volume. forex is available 24/7 for 5 days a week. forex is open on holidays, unlike other stock markets although the volume for trading can be lower.

the reason some people trade is for their business, for financial institutions, or companies. businesses may need supply from another country and needs to be payed in the countries bills.

when trading in forex, you are either buying or selling of a specific country. you either sell a certain currency inorder to buy a different one or buying a currency in-order to sell a different currency.

cryptocurrency process is called mining, this is when a person uses a computer to solve a mathematical problem to earn coins. this is one way to earn coins, the other way to earn coins is to buy them from brokers. with these coins you can store them or you can spend them.

there are many brands of cryptocurrency, the most famous is bitcoin. Depending on the amount of coins being used to buy certain things, the price of coin can rise instead of people just holding/saving and waiting. another way these coins can increase in value is when there is short supply of them.

cryptocurrency is safe to use because of its technology, called blockchain. this technology allows to keep all your information safe and cannot be changed by other people.

some stocks can be successful and bring you profit, but when you don't do enough research or don't give right information you can be put in debt or lose a certain amount of money. short-selling stock are the most risky, they can earn you money while the stock price lowers, usually a stock value Never passes 0$ but that stock can increase. this means that you can lose the money you put in, or you lose double or more causing you to be in debt.

scams are all over the world, they can come in emails, text messages, phone calls, or in the mail. stocks is also a place where scams can take place, a person or group of people try to persuade others to buy a certain stock so, after the stock reaches its climax the people will sell all their shares causing the stock to crash and they will most-likely do it again.

today at techie youth I moved to stocks, cryptocurrency and other forms of online trading.

A stock is a part of owner ship to an organization . At the point when you purchase an organization's stock, you're buying a little piece of that organization, called an offer.

people do this thinking that the company will cost more, when this happens people can sell their stock to make profit.

the owner can sell portions of their company in a Stockmarket exchange. the owner may do this raise up money for the company, to pay off a debt, grow their company or use it to create more products.

the chances of the company going up in price are 50-50, some company lose value or go out of business. so, instead of buying one stock and focusing on it you should buy a couple in-order to not lose money.

Branding:

when starting a company it is always important to make sure you Stand out. there are many things you can do to stand out against your competition. the name of your brand is something unique and it can make you Stand out, but it Is also very important that you don't copy the name off of another brand or make it sound similar. if you make a website for your company you must make a domain name for it. emails still go around and used today so coming up with an email is a must.

you look at your nike sneakers and think "just do it" or you pass by a McDonalds you think "I'm loving it", these are some good slogans that people around the world know. it is important for your company to have a slogan, because It can catch many people and grab their attention, another way to Catch peoples attention to your company is a mission statement. this can help costumers understand the reason your company is here and why they should rely on your company. having business cards are also a must to have costumers spread your company around, or have the same people come back to you, with just a call from that card. having a logo is also important to make your company stand out, such as McDonalds we all know the logo is a big yellow M.

today at techie youth I explored how I can start designing my own clothing. first step is to know how to draw and this is something very crucial when it comes to designing so if you aren't so good then you should practice everyday. next step is to know about sewing it is important to know about sewing because it can open many more ideas for new pieces. third is to know about design theory. fourth is you have to know about the fashion industry, it is always important to stay up to date so your design isn't "out-dated". make sure you know online platforms just in case you don't want to design on a piece of paper. fifth, is to know what inspires you, things that inspire you can bring great pieces. understand that their are many types of fabrics out there, and different fabrics mean different textures and different looks. design your piece on a 2d figure so you know how the piece can look like on a person. also make sure you color your piece and figure out what colors look best with each other.

today at techie youth I learned that you can sell your old art work on craigslist. some art projects you may no longer want but are worth something. some platforms you can use is instagram, Facebook, Etsy, eBay, and craigslist. craigslist is a good platform where you can sell big artwork or small art works that are worth good money, this platform is a place where people can bargain. when needing to get rid of some art work you can put your tittle as " Everything must go" it is a way to attract people, you can think of other things. tell a story, telling a story allows people to understand why you are selling these art pieces, it can because you need supplies, or you don't have enough money to pay bills this can enforce more sells or attract people. before selling your art make sure to do these things and also be sure you like the platform you are going to use.

today at techie youth I learned exit strategy. this is needed to see the owners goals for their business. there are three different kinds of exit strategies, an IPO, strategic acquisition, management buyout. An IPO is when you sell a part of your company to public markets. a strategic aquisition is when a company buys your business this is not always the best choice because you can lose control. management buyout is when the owner wants to recapitalize and sells the company to your managers. you should think about your future role in the business, think about your liquidity needs and the potential your company has in the future. also think about the potential buyers and how much you would sell the company or part of the company.

when building your own company there are many other important things to do than just knowing what your business will be. In the U.S it is important to register your business to the IRS. it is also important to file for a EIN in-order to receive money. there are many business entities, one is sole-proprietorship. in-order to be a formal sole-proprietorship you would need to file an application with "county-clerks." when you receive this you will be able to set up a bank account for the company.

today at techie youth I learned that you must use no as an answer. You always have to make sure that the extra work your job wants you to do is worth your while, if not then reject the extra work. if your job experience stops at a certain extend then make sure you say no to a work you aren't capable of.

It is always important to look professional when going to work. Covid has changed our lives and our work has changed to remote, this means that you must learn how to look good during zoom!

the camera should be working, there shouldn't be a need to buy a very high quality camera.

the camera should be placed eye level in-order to set an environment that you are taking face to face with that person.

make sure there is good lighting, the light should be facing you

your background shouldn't be distracting, it could have some decorations but not something that others or yourself could get distracted.

always put make up (for the girls) if you always put makeup during work then put makeup even during zoom

make sure you put good clothing for work, good work attire

I learned how I can use my volunteer work or school activities like sports in my resume. something like babysitting is a job most teenagers are able to do, with this you can put that a skill you learned is multi-tasking. you have to make sure that your resume can connect with the job you are looking for, you can also connect your school with job.

when starting your own business, someone might tell you to make sure you don't share out your business idea/plan. This is the first step to FAILURE. do not listen to that person ever, it is very important that you tell others your business plan because you will be given constructive feedback from other and can be an eye opening experience for you.

life will always has challenges and these challenging things can cause stress.

health is always important, and stress can make your health bad.

to limit stress you should just let things happen to you, be flexible when things change.

managing your expectations can also help minimize stress, be open when things don't go your way. the small things can make you blow up and making it a big thing, don't let the happen because usually the small things can be fixed one way or another.

your life satisfaction can effect you as a leader.

you should buy things you like, because if you buy something it can leave you with an unsatisfactory self.

love traveling, cut down on super big expenses things like a good hotel or a flight on first class.

make sure you do what you love because your life will be miserable

failure is something that will always happening and as a good leader you should never be afraid of it instead think a step ahead or start all over again

some factors in your life can cause struggles but you have to face these challenges in-order to stay satisfied with your life. Do what you love always!
