For the past few days, I've been both reviewing the videos and at the same time working on projects outside of the Techie Youth website. This consists of either short paragraphs based on what we learned, small projects like app ideas, or fundraising ideas and websites. The project I definitely enjoyed the most was creating a digital art and the video editing ones. Those I already had experience doing in the past so this was more like a creative expression for me.
Today, I revisited the quality of life section despite having started it during my first few days at Techie Youth. At the time, I wasn't able to quite finish the entire section leaving concepts that I really wanted to explore and understand. Today, I used that time to be able to absorb the information effectively. I learned the importance of managing finances, which is crucial in life, as learning how to save money can save time. My favorite concepts were the 50, 30, 20 rule and how to stretch your twenties. In other words, stretching twenties implies that whenever you receive a paycheck, round down to the nearest hundreds and use the leftover money for weekly or monthly spending.

I reviewed different concepts of making money online which mostly consisted of selling art online. I found this section interesting since I have several friends that are into creativity and art so watching videos and read articles. I also looked at the video editing section since I found that this rendered close to home for me. In the past, I have used editing software such as sony vegas to help edit gameplay, videos for school and much more.

I learned the process of publishing and copyright throughout most of the day and honestly found it quite interesting. Having the ability to make sure that your work is copyrighted is almost essential for the writing piece to be successful because not only that it prevents others from copying your ideas, it sets a sort of guideline as well.

In all honesty, I used this day to explore the various topics that Techie Youth has to offer. At first, I flipped through the different sections in search of finding a topic that interested me. I ended up reviewing topics such as Tiktok editing, understanding what a good startup is in terms of business, and how it affects the business in the long run. In addition, I briefly touched on the importance of social networking, and how it allows one to be able to get work done effectively.

Today was one of the most intriguing days that I encountered at Techie Youth. I was able to dive deep into clothing, jewelry, and anything that revolves around fashion. Laser cut products interest me as well since the prospect of creating something on my own is very exciting.

I used today to add on a little bit of information regarding the laser cut products that excited me yesterday. I was able to understand modeling and learn how to design the product in a 3d aspect. I also reviewed video editing again because I'm looking forward to creating a project that involves a combination of the skills I've learned.
I revisited some of the concepts of cryptocurrency and other payment methods. In addition, I learned more about entrepreneurship which I found really interesting. Topics that were discussed included the appropriate mindset to conduct when creating or having a business. For example, one must have to have the right mindset which is considered a go-getter mindset. In other words, a necessity for desire is needed. Passion is key because you must enjoy what you're doing.
Today was mostly spent viewing the different courses or assignments that Techie Youth had to offer and I must say, they were all pretty interesting. It is clear that Techie Youth is designed to promote one's self through learning on their own. They offer pretty interesting concepts from cryptocurrency and investments to different jobs that may be a future career choice for me such as Quality Assurance. I definitely found all of the concepts revolving around stock options, the types of stocks, cryptocurrencies and the concepts between mining and trading the most interesting. Investing is always a concept I can see myself doing so it was exciting to be able to learn it through these videos today.
