Today at techie youth i learned that there are a lot of different kinds of virtual assistants, and it is more work to the job than i thought. To become a virtual assistant, you have to be familiar with different apps and programs depending on what kind of VA you are. For example travel assistants need to know how to find the cheapest flights and book the cheapest/best hotels while some just need to know how to use social media apps or apps like etsy
Today I learned about video editing. There are a lot of different programs that can be used for different kinds of editing. A good way to improve your editing skill or land jobs, you have to be able to see opportunities even if there isnt one. The best way to land a video editing job, you have to be able to put yourself out there by sending emails and contacting people you want to work with or for. At the beginning of the email it is best to write something that sets you apart from other people and tell them about your previous projects.
Today i was learning about stocks and learned that there are a lot of different stocks to invest in and trade. Investing in stocks isnt only about the size of the company or category, its about company’s growth potential and whether the stock complements the other investments you own. There is way more to learn about stocks than i expected.
