I have completed the Niche Website Unit! It was surprisingly quick but it was interesting. I then ping ponged around with whatever looked interesting. The last thing actually being looking into the work of a Business analysist! It is pretty straight forward and pretty cool job that I'd be able to easily do! I might try and look into it as a career in the future but who knows.
Today was the day I finished up the Selling Digital Goods Unit! There wasn't really much in the end I can comment on besides learning about Copyright. It was pretty interesting seeing the intricacies of such a messed up system but besides that nothing. At least I got to move on pretty quick. I then moved on to learning how to create a Niche website which is pretty up my alley over all!
Today gave me a little chuckle while covering some odd things. The main weird thing was that I was learning how to trade None physical assets, like Crypto. Now that didn't make pause, it was the fact it wanted me to learn how to trade Steam Trading Cards! Now I watched and learned how to do so but dear god was that a surprise. Past that I learned about Crypto and Copyright for photos. Nothing much past this though.
Today was the big day! I finished up the Digital Goods Unit! The last part of it was kinda tiring but overall a good walkthrough. Now I'm looking to sell thanks to the Unit with the Selling Digital Goods Unit. SO far it's pretty good but that's all I can say. I hope it is as thrilling as the last one and I can get through it with little issue.
Today was focused on the selling of goods online goods. It was nice to learn everything I can use with Ebay being the best in my eyes due to personal preference. I enjoy how there's so many too but that's about all. Besides that I learned about Wearables and making clothing in general with doing so looking pretty dang fun. I want to try it sometime
Today was focused on more learning about crating art online through different programs, Adobe stuff mainly but I watched the other videos also and they were pretty cool programs. Though Gimp is the only one I think I'd use since it's free and looks pretty good. Got started on the Fashion topic too and from what I saw it was pretty interesting.
Today I was able to get to 3 different topics! Raspberry Pis, Tech restoration, and the creation of art! The only really thing I had interest in was the Tech restoration! I mean using old tech to create something new is pretty awesome. There was a tutorial on using an old PS3 Controller to make a Rumble Chair! That's pretty dang creative and fun. If nothing else I'll try and create one of those, sounds like it'd be fun for VR.
Today was more Software tutorials! That's basically all I did to while being stuck on the same topic today. That's all you can say about all this, it's Laser Cutting. It's still cool to watch and learn how to do t but that's about it.
I finished up everything for 3D modelling and I was right about it being surprising to watch and learn how to use so may programs though. I finished up there and quickly moved on Laser Cutting and it's a pretty neat thing people use it for. I mostly thought it'd be used for cutting Sheet Metal but I was surprised it was used for hobbyists also.
Today I continued in on Learning about Printer level 3D models with most of the day spent on Blender models. It's a pretty interesting thing to have to do so a Printer can even process a model and not mess up. It's just overall interesting thing to learn. It's a bit dull to watch through though, especially multiple tutorials on different programs. Still a great thing to learn.
Today I finished off the Writing Unit and it was a pretty bland ending all things considered. Not great but it was just as educational as the others. That's when I moved on to learning how to make 3d Models and Print them so I could sell them. Weird Idea for a unit but it's a pretty cool idea for one. I mostly watched tutorial on software today but I'll move past that next week.
Today was the day I was focusing on the Writing Unit. Writing is a personal passion of mine so I thought why not? It's really amazing the effort and diversity of the roles a writer has. The main one I focused on today was magazine writer which is pretty neat for a job. Though print media is dying out the job seem to be well off. Might try it out one day.
Today I focused directly on App Creation! It's honestly crazy how how much effort goes into apps that I doubt I'd be able to keep my head on straight after going through all the work to get all the work done! It takes so much work to market and code an app with both platforms (Apple and Android) that it'd drive most people mad, but these people do it though. They go through all the work to get the word out and make these apps something they can make money off of. This is truly worth all that effort needed for them do these apps.
Today decided to watch the video on coding with Python. It was well made and lade out well. Not really much to say past that.
I recently started listening to the videos on Databases. The storage of data is really interesting but the videos are incredibly long. One of them, is 8 hours long! but it is worth the time investment. Not much to say past that though.
For the past 3 weeks I have been in the Techie Youth program. I've mostly focused on videos relating to coding due to that being a very interesting process. They're so complex but with them you can do so many things. It is annoying that there is multiple coding languages that aren't really interchangeable but that isn't that horrible, just annoying. This was only my second topic I began to listen to this year.
I began looking into information on Writing work. It's a very interesting field with many positions to choose from. I mostly like free lance work but everything else is pretty cool. There's a lot when you go down that route though and it can be a little overwhelming with all the choices. Still worth all the time to go through everything and learn all the form of writing work.
