Today I was learning more in depth how I can make certain websites to allow to engage users. I also began working on it to try and find ways to sell my own business that I have tried to once start and will be trying to again. I also learned where and how I can ship my items after they are bought.
In order to write an executive summary, many steps have to be accounted for. I did not learn that after having to write this summary three times already. I am also learning more about coding languages, I learned a little about Java and Python and these videos have allowed me to learn about them
Today I completed my assignments that I needed to do. After completing that I went and learned about databases
Today I learned about the administration of websites and how to host your website for free and through paid websites.
Today I learned various ways to attract customers to purchase from whatever I decide to sell. I have recently found a passion in selling crocheted items to bring light to those who made hand made items in other countries and are not able to receive the American price. Learning these tips would allow me to strengthen my ability to sell and have a flourishing business.
After learning many ways to have different sources of income that vary in the tech and art world I finally learned how to make profit through my sells.
Today I learned about photoshop and free ways to edit photos to create a business through art. Editing photos has become a very common source of income recently and there has been many ways to make it easier for those with interest in editing photos.
Today I have also brushed up upon an old skill that I used to do often— laser cutting. I only knew about Vectr and Adobe to create materials for laser cuttings to transform them into SVG. I learned new software such as Inkscape, LibreCAD, and CorelDRAW. Being able to expand my knowledge I firmly believe I will be able to use these to complete career tasks or homework in college.
Today I was able to learn more about different 3D modeling software. Before today I have tested Tinkercad and OnShape and for a long time wanted to try blender. Finally today I was able to learn more about it and even test it out on my own.
Today, I reviewed the two quizzes that I have not received mastery of. I spent over two hours reviewing all of the course work taking notes and taking the quiz, after so many attempts I failed to pass. I just continued to do the rest of the work, instead of wasting time. I completed my assignment of creating an executive summary and was able to pitch an idea that I have been very passionate about.
Today, I finished the Entrepreneur and leadership section. I finished the unit by learning how to draw my customer's attention by providing a service to people that would be of use. After that, I am going into each sub-lesson to find important information to complete the final assignment.
Today, I learned more about businesses. Prior to today, I took a marketing class, but I was able to learn more about branding by viewing professionals and reading the articles provided in each section. I also learned more about business entity and licenses and what type of licenses can protect your personal possessions or not.
Today, I finished mastering all of the previous courses and reviewed them to ensure it was time for me to go on the next step in Techie Youth, which is prerequisites. I began with the first one and deeply started to know how running a business looks like closely.
Today on techie youth I was able to learn how to work remotely and how to professionally be on zoom as I work remotely. I also learn the importance of balance in a remote job and how it can become overwhelming if I am not managing my time.
Today was my first day at Techie Youth, and I was able to learn how Techie Youth works and how youth learns how to make money and upgrade themselves for their own businesses or great companies. I learned this through the videos and articles provided in each section for the introduction pre-requisites. Then the assignments and quiz really tested if I knew what each course was teaching me at the end of each section, and where I needed to interact.
