Today I learned about retrofitting electronic products. One of the problems with technology is that objects become outdated and what was once cutting-edge very quickly becomes trash. There are ample devices that are plentiful in the world but are deprecated and no longer useful for the majority of the world's population such as the VCR, old non-digital cellphones that operated from analog cell towers, CRT TV sets (the kind with the heavy glass "tube" screens), cassette players, landline telephones, low-resolution digital cameras and lots of other modern-antique items. A fun income channel can be procuring these items, either to restore/fix and sell as vintage or to create something new and useful out of obsolete technology.
Today I learned about how to program a microcontroller directly. All of these prototyping circuit boards like the Arduino and Raspberry Pi are powered by programmable microcontrollers. Prototyping circuit boards are much easier to develop a project on, but with some added programming effort and additional electronic components, the microcontroller chip can be programmed directly to do the same things as the prototyping circuit boards. Programming the microcontroller is more effort and often requires more external components, but the hardware is much less expensive and usually substantially smaller. The Atmel AVR and the PIC from Microchip are the most common microcontrollers for hobbyists. In addition to the components needed for programming prototyping circuit boards, to program the microcontroller directly you will also need a Microcontroller programmer for your specific microcontroller, such as a PIC programmer.
Today I learned about laser Cutting. It is quite simple in theory, a laser is used to precisely cut out shapes from various materials. Lasers can engrave or cut into all sorts of materials, cardstock being a common inexpensive material to start with. With the addition of glue or adhesive, you can create 3D objects using 2D laser-cut parts, such as creating a cube from six squares. Laser cutters are very precise and detailed; they are ideal for smaller objects that have low manufacturing costs and sell for a premium such as earrings and small figurines. It is also important to determine in advance which laser cutting service you intend to use because the specifications for how to create the modeling file will change between services.
Today I learned about robotic products. Robotic products refer to functional objects that can be interacted with physically and are powered by custom electronics and/or a programmable microcontroller. I was taught about the basic fundamentals of electronic engineering; becoming an electronic engineer is beyond the scope of this course, but if you enjoy this section then you may want to consider electronic engineering as a career path. The basic principle of a robotic product is that it monitors various types of inputs and uses that info to determine what it should output. The most basic of inputs include pushing a button or turning a knob, or sensors for light, temperature, or distance. The resulting outputs can include lighting up an LED, activating a motor to create movement, displaying something on a screen, or generating a sound.
Today I learned about how to sell digital assets and email-blast marketing. I learned about how email marketing can help you sell your online products and ways to use email marketing to sell online products. I also learned about some of the uses of email marketing. Being able to write powerful email pitch letters that sell effectively is very important for email marketing. I learned about advertising conversion, advertising conversion benchmarks by industry, and how to create a high-converting ad. I got to watch how someone was able to get their first 1,000 Email Subscribers.
Today I learned about data entry. Data entry encompasses different job titles, but all roles typically involve inputting data into a company's system from written or audio files. Most legitimate companies hiring for this type of work will hire people as independent contractors and not full-time employees. I also learned that data entry jobs are frequently the bait for work-at-home scams so if a company asks you for a fee before you begin work, then it is a scam. I learned about some useful skills for data entry work, such as proficient typing skills, computer skills, basic literacy, numeracy skills, and good communication skills.
Today I learned about Technical writing is different from any other type of writing. It has limited literary creativity and is primarily focused on providing detailed descriptions and instructions. Examples of technical writing include instruction manuals, product specifications and installation guides. This kind of writing requires a lot of practice, since it can be difficult for writers to transition from creative to technical writing.
Today I learned about authoring books. I learned that books can be written about virtually anything that you can think of, so everyone has some knowledge-area that they are qualified to write about, be it about the profession, hobbies, passions, personal experience, or just entertaining fiction. Writing and publishing a book can be done independently, or through a traditional publishing process that involves agents, editors, and publishers to get your book out to the public; there are unique benefits to both routes.
Today I learned about magazines and journals. Magazine writers typically write articles for one or a small few magazines on a regular basis or write contributing articles for many different magazines that are in the same niche without any guaranteed continuity. Writing for magazines does not require specific expertise of any kind beyond the topic of the article you are writing, but you do need to be able to write concise, interesting, factually correct articles that will grab the attention of a reader who is just browsing through the magazine. There are many different types of magazines and topics that you can write about, so the opportunities are limitless.
Today I learned about how to produce music on a computer. I learned about the basics of music theory and chords and how they relate to music production. I also watched a video to learn 10 techniques I can use when producing music. I now understand how I can begin using technology on my computer to produce music and the different types of software that I can use for free to produce music on my computer at home. I learned about how I can get started as a DJ/ Music Producer and which programs to use and what platforms to launch music on. I also learned about the different types of music careers one can get into and their median salary.
Today I learned that you can make your own music online with a computer. You can also make a music video with only yourself in it and make it seem like there are more people. You don't need all of your limbs to play an instrument, just like Jack Thomas.
What I learned at Techie Youth today is that fundraising has a lot of methods. You can fundraise online by writing emails, texting, and even by social media. You can fundraise with pitches like an elevator pitch. Many fundraisers work as consultants, an initial step to getting consulting fundraiser work is adding your profile to Upwork so potential employers can find you.
Today I learned an Entrepreneur is anyone who earns money independently through a business venture they started or managed. I learned what I have to do before I make a startup business. I have to create a product or an MPV version of a product. I need customers to buy from me. Then I have to hire people to work for my business.
I learned that I could make 3D objects with an app and 3D print them. Some of those apps are TinkerCad, Blender, Autodesk Meshmixer, Autocad by Autodesk, and Solidworks. I am interested in these apps because I can express 3D art on them.
To work as a transcriptionist, you’ll need to have stellar listening skills, including the ability to decipher audio with heavy accents, background noises, and multiple speakers. You’ll need to be able to concentrate on a task for an extended period of time. Having a quiet, dedicated workspace at home helps.
Another important skill is the ability to type fast. If you’re just starting out, a typing speed of 65 words per minute (wpm) is fine, but eventually, you’ll want to aim for between 75 to 90 wpm. The more you practice, the better your speed will get.

I learned about web coding. The majority of a web developer's day involves coding. There are web development alternatives to learning to code that can be used for personal web development projects. You can write code in any text-editor, like Notepad, but most developers increase their coding productivity by using an Integrated Development Environment (IDE.). There are many web development languages, most developers focus on learning just a few of them.
today I learned about database. Databases are used to store the data from your website. Typically, databases are used for dynamic data, such as when a user submits a form and the form data needs to be saved somewhere, but this is a simplistic explanation and there are very many use-cases for databases. With some exceptions, most databases fall into a category of being a relational or a non-relational database. A denormalized non-relational database for an e-commerce website would typically create a new record for each user. This record would contain all of the data for that user including their name, addresses, email/password, their order history including the products within each order, etc.
Today I learned about the different ways to make immediate money. One way that stood out to me was selling art online. Selling art online can be a profitable endeavor, both if you are an artist seeking to sell your own work or if you are simply an admirer of an artist who wants to make a business selling other people's works. It is common to use social media such as Facebook or Instagram to share your art in order to gain recognition and increase your popularity. Art scams are ways to exploit an artist who is eager to succeed and may be convinced that the scammer is sincerely offering a useful service or purchase. As soon as you are asked to spend money, it is critical that you research very thoroughly to determine if you are being scammed.
Today I learned about how to own a commercial property. I also learned about the hiring process and how to hire a good team of employees to work with me. First, I need to learn about the implications of different leadership styles so that I can decide what approach best matches my personality. Then I need to learn what to expect from employees you hire, and how human psychology impacts how you should be managing your human resources. I also learned how to fire, terminate or lay off employees, and what are the protocols to follow in order to minimize your liability when ending their employment. I also learned that I need to open my bank checking and other accounts in the name of my company, so my clients can send you checks and payments written in the name of the company.
Today I learned about branding and how it's important to think of a name that hasn't been used before. You have to come up with a name that is appealing and works for a website as well. If you use a name that another brand has already used before legal conflicts can potentially arise. You should also create a slogan that is good because this ensures that people will repeat your slogan and that way no one will forget about you. A mission statement lets people know what the company stands for, and essentially, what purpose it has for existing. It inspires not only customers to be interested in the company, but employees to want to work for it. You also need a logo and creating a logo may take time. Business cards are also important because you can create many of them and pass them around to different people in different areas. People can keep them in their purses, wallets, cars etc.
Today I learned a lot of new information on entrepreneurship. I learned about how I myself can become an entrepreneur and motivation to get me to start thinking of ideas to be able to start my own company. I learned that becoming an entrepreneur can get you from zero dollars to a millionaire. Some traits necessary are leadership, consistency, and motivation. I watch videos on how to further develop and use these traits to become an entrepreneur. I learned about some of the few myths about an entrepreneur. I also learned about how to make and deliver a thought into a business. I was able to watch the videos and get first hand advice from entrepreneurs and I was even able to experience from a video a day in the life of a six figure entrepreneur. Another important thing I learned was innovation and the varieties of innovation.
Today I learned about how to write a resume. I also learned about the important things that I would list on my resume such as my skills and some of my achievements and previous work. I learned about some of the most commonly asked questions during interviews and how I should respond to them. I also learned about some questions I should ask during an interview to make me seem more interested in the job. I learned about Facebook, webcam, and Pinterest. I was taught how people can use those apps to portray creativity to use it as a source of income.
Today I learned about scams and how to avoid them. I learned that if something sounds too good to be true then it is often a scam that I should stay away from. I also learned ways to see if someone is trying to take advantage and scam you. If they are asking you for your information over the phone you should not give it away because that is often a scam. Some people are even malicious enough to scam charity organizations. I also learned about the many ways one can get paid off social media such as Instagram and TikTok. I was show ways to edit TikTok videos and how to use cool filters that will attract more audience. I also learned about how to edit pictures on Instagram and post them on your story. I learned how important it is to have a theme on Instagram and post frequently so that your followers are active. I also learned that it is important to use catchy captions and popular hashtags so that my account and post can be seen by others on the explore page. One way someone can start to make money from Instagram is by becoming an ambassador and selling things for other people to earn some type of commission.
Today I learned about many ways to improve my quality of life such as time management, stress, and mentors. I learned that it is important to learn how to manage my stress by looking at the positive side of things and accepting things for what they are. it is important not to overthink the little things because everything is temporary. I also learned how productive one can be when they have good time management skills. Having a schedule and a set goal will motivate you to do better and reach your goal. I also learned that the one thing you cant buy is health so it is important to maintain a healthy lifestyle and eat healthily. creating a consistent sleep schedule also helps and working out on a weekly basis. If you consistently do something for a matter of three months it becomes a part of your routine. I also learned the importance of a mentor. having a mentor helps you to discuss everything with someone you feel safe with that is certified to help you and direct you. Having role models will also help motivate you to strive to do better.
I learned about how to get started with this website and how to find videos that may interest me. I learned about different ways to save money. I learned that buying a luxury old car can be cheaper and a better investment than a brand new car. This is because new cars depreciate in value a lot faster than an old car would. I also learned that buying things such as gold is a good investment because it goes up in value the longer you have it. I was taught about other possible remote jobs that pay good money and why working from home is good for businesses. The videos watched today have given me a better understanding of the value of money. Getting money isn't hard but saving it is what can sometimes be the hard part. these videos really helped me to better understand how to make smarter decisions with money, how to save money, and the different type of opportunities available when it comes to job offers etc.
