After watching How to gain control of your free time by Laura Vanderkam, I've had a whole new perspective on time. I always felt that time was the one resource I never had any control over. It feels like there's never enough, and I constantly struggle to find more time for myself. After watching this video, I realized there is enough time, but my priorities and lack of discipline are failing me. I realized that my preferences relate to the idea of me being comfortable and watching loads of content. While simultaneously complaining that I don't have enough time to create any for myself. So I almost steal time away from activities with a designated time slot to make time for myself. In reality, if I discipline myself and shift my priorities, things will change.

These are goals that I can accomplish. I've heard people's stories. I've seen it done many times over. I think what is crucial for me to note is how much social media and basic lounging waste my time. And anytime I think of giving up, I tell myself I need to know I need to be aware of what is trending now and all the innovations, but that's not true. I know it's not. I think my next best step is to remove social media from my life, focus on creating rather than consuming it, and once I have more discipline in my life, consider incorporating it back into my life. I think these drastic measures are needed for me to prioritize myself. It is time to refocus my goals and energy on myself. As simple as that.
