Today I was rewatching the video editing videos today. This unit is really interesting to me and is making me want to edit videos whether that's mine or other people. This is also giving me more confidence to being editing peoples videos and giving me an understanding we all start out somewhere.
Today I learned how to get clients for video editing. For example I saw some examples of how to write a cold email. This would get the attention of who your emailing and most likely get you a client. I also learned how to make a profile which help you get some more attention and bring you more clients.
These past two days I have been trying to do my work and after I'm watching videos and reading articles I'm being told to I've been inactive. I've had to watch the same video multiple times and still being told I'm being inactive which is unfair to me because it is messing up my usage for these days.
Today I was able to learn about how to edit videos. This was cool to me because I'm always watching videos on YouTube and Netflix so to be able to see what they do is cool. Also I was able to see the day in a life of a freelance editor which was cool too because they are making money all while being home.
Today I learned more about fundraising and different ways to get started. I also learned some ways for me to also do it virtual and how to host it. This to me was very important because with so much going on in today's world a lot of people would rather do it remote. I also learned a little more of how impactful social media could be to fundraising.
Today I learned how to fundraise. This to me was important because in my school we are constantly fundraising so being able to learn more about how I could contribute would really help. For example I learned being able to get to donors and using a back story to get them. Also how I could use my social media to help promote the fundraiser.
This for Tuesday Aug 2nd. On this day I learned different services I could take advantage of. For example being a tutor. This really stood out to me because I've always wanted to help others with more specifically math. With me going back to school soon I could take advantage of this so that I'd be able to help students while also earning money. I also found the Olin ad campaign management interesting. Since I want to become a marketing manager this would give me a head start in looking at data and how to help promote a business.
Today I learned how you could learn money from your music. An example of this is getting monetized and how much you earn when you are monetized. I also was able to see a handful of different websites where you could upload your music. I was also able to see the different websites you could use to make music like garageband.
Today I learned some ways for me to earn money using social media. For example promoting other products and reviewing them. After that I learn the different jobs there's different jobs in the music industry. An example was being a producer or engineer. Also I was able to watch some videos on how I can make beats from my computer.
Today I learned about stocks and virtual currency. I learned the different types of stocks and their pros and cons. I also learned about Bitcoin and how we can trade virtual currency.
I today I learned more about business and what to focus on when running multiple business. I also learned a little about marketing/promoting your business and the impact it has.
Today I learned how to be comfortable when speaking in front of a lot of people. I also learned how to present myself as a leader. I also learned more about business and entrepreneurship and the different ways to boost your business.
Today I learned how to manage my time and getting the most done with the time I have. I also learned a lot of about mental health and how that plays a big part in your job. I also learned some ways on how to deal with metal health.
Today I learned how how to manage my money. This includes investing it or just putting it in a savings account. I also learned about networking. To add I learned how networking is very important especially if you want to start or own a business.
Today I learned about all the type of remote jobs there are. While learning about all kinds of remote jobs I learned about the pros and cons of these jobs and how remote jobs aren't for everyone. Lastly, I learned how to take on an interview and prepare for one.
