Learning about supply and demand

When there is less of something, people place more value on it, increasing the prices. But when there is more of something, people seem to devalue it.

Job Interviews and Resumes

Today I learned about going into career paths and what to expect for interviews. I have learned that you have to write a resume that outlines your experiences and skills that has to show your employer that you are a good fit for the job. The next step is after they accept your resume in the interview. This is where a person would interview you face to face and ask you more personal questions. It's good to prepare and research the company before you go in. You must make sure that your values align with the company's values.

Traveling the World

Today, I learned about the motivations for being rich. I heard lots of anecdotes about other people and what drives them to do what they are passionate about. One big factor that came out of this was traveling. It was interesting to hear about how much sacrifices have to be put into pursuing the lifestyle that you want. You have to struggle till you make it.

Working Remote: Become the future of the workforce

Today, I learned about the positives and negatives of working remotely. I've come to the conclusion that working remotely is the future, as it provides a more distributed workforce. It allows people worldwide to connect and work on a single project. There are differences though. People working remotely are able to travel and live in around the world. People working remotely also tend to get much more lost in their work, and sometimes even end up overworking as they get so much into it. Additionally, when thinking about hybrid working environments, it's easy to overlook people working remotely because you don't have a personal connection with them. That's one of the downsides. Working remotely allows for the person to go at their own pace whenever they want to. As long as they get the work done.
