In today's video I am going to be talking about a monthly paying dividend stock that I have been buying up lately in the portfolio. The stock I am talking about today is STAG Industrial. STAG Industrial, Inc. (NYSE: STAG) is a real estate investment trust focused on the acquisition and operation of single-tenant, industrial properties throughout the United States. By targeting this type of property, STAG has developed an investment strategy that helps investors find a powerful balance of income plus growth.

When looking at a REIT it is a bit different than the way we look at a typical stock. There are some metrics I go over to look at for REITs such as Funds From Operations (FFO) and Adjusted Funds For Operation (APPO). From these we can look at a P/APPO and APPO payout ratio for the dividend.

This is a different setup than my usual videos so curious as to what you all think about it and if you like it or not.
